GE Fanuc Series 90-70 CPU Racks
Rack - The Series 90-70 has a variety of racks available capable of meeting the needs of all applications. The engineer will choose the racks based upon his overall system configuration. Racks are available in both front and rear mount designs. There are several choices to be made, including 5 and 9 slot standard racks, 9 slot redundant racks, and even 17 slot VME Integrator racks. The racks are used for mounting CPUs, both local and remote Input/Output Modules, and power supplies. With compatible accessories any of these racks can be used as an expansion rack. It is also possible for two separate racks to run off of one power supply. The following table aids in comparing the various rack options. All of the racks have a power supply slot in addition to the slots listed in the table.
