Welding Sockets

A welding socket is a connector, such as a 'T', 'Y', cap, or inline connector, used to provide a welded connection in pipes and tubes. A welding socket is used in place of butt welding (end-to-end) to provide more surface area and thereby reducing the amount of heat and time required to complete the weld connection.
