Diaphragm Pumps
A diaphragm pump, also known as a membrane pump, is a type of positive displacement pump that uses a pulsating diaphragm to pump a fluid from a chamber through a discharge pump. All inlets and outlet pipes must be incorporated with non-return check valves to ensure the motion of the diaphraghm results in pumping of the fluid. Diaphragm pumps are characterized as having good suction lift capabilities, resulting in the ability to operate at low pressure with low flow and the ability to self-prime.
