Controlled Video Switcher
CVS is a solution to your existing composite video system. This device is meant for switching between several incoming (maximum of 8) video signals to one outgoing single signal. It is meant for monitoring and switching several channels simultaneously by using the latest technology.
The advantage of this tiny device is that it can be integrated into other signal processing applications without distressing about too many connections either internally or externally. The device itself operates off 5V supply that can be furnished either by using the existing internal power supply or an external one such as an AC adapter.
The buffering of the received video signal is also done by the 5V supply being delivered down the 75Ω cable and consequently enabling channel-change commands. However, if your existing circuit requires more voltage than 5V (typically 12V) for pulsing, this can be done easily… simply request it from our customer support…
This device’s function carries composite video: NTSC, PAL or SECAM and is meant as a video solution for your image processing application.
