Many companies have a fleet of machines and therefore motors. Their locking takes place most of the time in dedicated electrical rooms by qualified electricians.
 

To allow each worker to act self-protectively, a safety approach called LOTO can be initiated on the installed engines. Increasing people safety is the main priority during any maintenance-, repair- and cleaning work. This is now possible thanks to the implementation of MARECHAL® plugs and socket-outlets near each equipment, on which everyone can put a personal lock: the principle of local locking "LOTO*" on electric motors.
 

Located inside or outside the plant, the mounting of MARECHAL® DECONTACTOR™ (plug and socket with integrated load breaking switch) is robust and waterproof, close to the engines, is required the safety officials HSE.

 

The interlocking system (optional) prevents from supplying or inappropriate use of a device undergoing maintenance or under load. They fit perfectly in your locking procedures.
