Inverter Fusion Introduces Their New i-TECH Range

Inverter Fusion Ltd has announced the introduction of the i-TECH range – a new range of high quality stick/MMA and MIG welding machines and plasma cutters, all of which will be covered by a comprehensive 2 year parts and labour warranty with all repairs being carried out at their factory in Devon by their experienced team of engineers.

The first model to arrive is the i-TECH160 – a compact, lightweight and easy to use 160 Amp stick welder which is ideal for light welding and maintenance. The i-TECH160 achieves duty cycles of up to 100% and welds electrodes up to 4mm.

Graham Hill, Technical and Product Development Manager commented, “Our UK design team has worked closely with our manufacturing partner to develop the new i-TECH160, which is powered by IGBT technology, and we are very pleased with the result. Features include hot start, to enable you to start welding easily; anti-stick, enabling you to separate the electrode easily without reddening; and arc force which provides a 15% over current to prevent sticking when the electrode enters the weld pool. The machine comes ready to use complete with earth clamp, electrode holder and a convenient carry bag.”

The i-TECH160 will shortly be joined by the i-TECH MIG170, a professional 170 Amp inverter MIG welder which also has both MMA and scratch start TIG capabilities, and the i-TECH CUT60, a powerful, portable inverter plasma cutter. Later in the year the i-TECH135 stick welder, the i-TECH MIG250 inverter MIG welder and the i-TECH CUT40 will be arriving.
