RUD Chain’s Military Technology Team will be exhibiting at the 2013 Modern Day Marine Expo at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Quantico, September 24-26. Modern Day Marine Expo is the premier military equipment, systems, services and technology exposition: This expo is where the U.S. Marine Corps is introduced to new products and technologies in the military industry and it will make a huge impact on most of their purchasing decisions for equipment and systems that they will rely on in the field. RUD’s Universal Sling Combat Systems (USCS) was engineered to address critical issues that plague many other U.S. military chain sling systems. RUD’s USCS offers unmatched strength, guaranteed safety, easy transportability, and many other convenient features.
For example, the USCS that RUD designed for the U.S. Army features a custom single lifting system that is capable of removing deck plates, radiators, power-packs, engines and transmissions from the M1 Main Battle Tank, the M2Bradley Fighting Vehicle, the M88 Recovery Vehicle, the M113 Armored Personnel Carrier, the M577 Command Post Carrier, the M109 Self Propelled Howitzer and the M992 Field Artillery Ammunition Supply Vehicle.
Additionally, the USCS is easily transportable (and much more transportable than other systems) because it uses RUD’s patented Grade 100 chain technology, making the chains lighter and stronger than those used in the other systems. They may be lighter in weight, but our universal sling systems offer more military might!
