New Laser Cutting Service at V and F Sheet Metal

We are very pleased to announce that we have invested in a brand new Trumpf 3030 3KW fiber laser cutter with automatic pallet changer. This laser cutting machine will perfectly compliment the 2 Trumpf CNC punch presses that we already operate in our modern manufacturing plant in Fareham, Hampshire, UK. Having the ability to laser cut mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper in house will enable us to offer even quicker turnaround times for urgent orders, samples and larger batch volumes. With the added benefit of no CNC tooling needed for special shaped cut-outs of complex outer profiles this machine is sure to become very popular with our customers. Where the CNC punch presses have always been very quick at punching holes in thin gauge materials the fiber laser can also cut holes quickly in thin sheet metal but also cope with much thicker materials.
