Fastener manufacturer and supplier Swagefast, established in 1994, is a small supplier of all industrial fasteners, standard fasteners, specialised fasteners, Swagelok fittings, bearings, belting, Hat/Huck installation equipment, spare parts, lockbolts and collars.
Since then, the company has established itself as a leader in the market as a reliable and well known supplier.
The company is based in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, and is involved in an ongoing contract with Gold Fields for the supply of fasteners and fastening systems for its South Deep Twin shaft, with an estimated completion date at the end of 2013.
And, it believes that with many new mining exploration developments scheduled for Limpopo, the North West province and Mpumalanga, in the next five years, expansion and growth is a must for the company.
Meanwhile, the quality management system, which the company has established, is supported by senior management and all other company personnel and ensures that specified procedures are ?adhered to. ?Ongoing training ensures that the company’s personnel are ?familiar with technical objectives, products, codes, quality standards, design and corporate procedures.
