Nomination of a new Management Board Luc Themelin appointed as Chairman of the Management Board

The Company’s Supervisory Board has acknowledged differences of opinion with Ernest Totino, Chairman of the Management Board, regarding the organisation of the Group’s Management.
Accordingly, the Supervisory Board has taken the unanimous decision to terminate his appointment as Chairman and member of the Management Board.
The Supervisory Board has named a new Chairman of the Management Board and appointed new members with immediate application. The Management Board is to be chaired by Luc Themelin (already a member of the Management Board) and its members will also include Thomas Baumgartner, Chief Financial Officer, Christophe Bommier, Group Vice President, High Temperatures, Didier Muller, Group Vice President, Electrical Applications, and Marc Vinet, Group Vice President, Electrical Protection. The composition of the new Management Board reflects both continuity and the desire to get Mersen main operational managers more involved into the Group’s executive management. The Supervisory Board has stated its entire confidence in the Group’s development prospects and in particular in the ability of the new Management Board to carry out growth projects in line with its current strategy. As announced on July 20, the Company will release its interim results on August 31 and will raise its objectives for the current year.
