Metal Parts Manufacturer Chooses Despatch Ovens

Despatch Ovens has entered into a private label partnership with a leading manufacturer of metal part additive manufacturing systems. The client produces metal parts from prototype to manufacturing scale. The initial multi-unit order involves a customized Despatch LAC lab oven that will crosslink metal powder mixtures inside build boxes before depowdering and sintering 3D metal parts.
Despatch Ovens have Class A specifications to meet National Fire Protection Association’s NFPA 86 Standards for Ovens and Furnaces. These ovens process solvents released during the crosslinking process and are CE certified to conform to European Union regulations. Electrical circuits are optimized to support processes without requiring excess amperage.
According to Jeff Bell, Despatch Business Manager, “We expect to see increasing demand for these units due to the rapidly growing industry which grew 80% last year. We are uniquely positioned to play a part in this groundbreaking technology.”
