The "singing valve" is actuated with extremly short circuit time in the millisecond range. By these circuit times, very high frequencies (up to 1000 Hz) can be created which are noticed as sound.

The RRV® 187 is especially suitable for the pressure reduction and dosing of small amounts of gas or fluids. Due to the small size of the ball it is possible to control the valve also with very high frequencies (up to 1000 Hz). This leads to a nearly continuous flow control.
