ArcelorMittal South Africa has recently acknowledged the need for an alternative seamless pipe grade to the standard offering of ASTM / ASME A/SA 106B, which is regularly used in the Petrochemical industry. A decision to introduce seamless pipe certified to ASTM / ASME A/SA 53B for use in the Mining, Conveyance and General Engineering sectors was made.

 

This innovative alternative product is available at a more economical rate to the Petrochemical Industry and is subject to less stringent test and inspection requirements.

 

As an approved supplier of ArcelorMittal South Africa’s steel products, Macsteel Trading Wadeville has the grade available in standard 6.0m lengths, with the ability to the secure the full size range from 25nb to 150nb to meet your specific requirements.
