New Academy for Draughting |
|
|
Software Company CAD Corporation in partnership with CAD Corporation Draughting Academy MD Robert Schmidt, has opened the new academy to assist in filling the shortage gap for skilled draughtspeople, designers and CAD specialists.
South Africa produces 1 000 draughtspeople a year and, according to the South African Institute of Draughting (SAID), 5 000 draughtspeople should be trained every year. The draughtsperson course at the academy is structured to prepare students in their careers by focusing on software training, including a variety of Autodesk software.

As part of our marketing strategy for 2013, EngNet will be exhibiting at a number of Trade Shows around the country.
This puts us face to face with many of our users and clients in a short space of time. In May we were at the SA Industry & Technology show. In July we will be at the KZN Industrial Technology Exhibition and in September we will be at the Electra Mining – Botswana Addition.
We look forward to seeing you there.

Congratulations to EngNet’s MD, Adrian Cooney, for successfully completing his first Comrades in a time of 9 hours 17 minutes in very hot and windy conditions.
To quote the Comrades Face Book page “2013 proved to be the toughest run in the race history”
