Plasmatreat® is the world leader in atmospheric pressure plasma technology. It has over 1300 plasma surface treatment systems installed worldwide in the production lines with over 50 global patents.
These systems micro clean and highly activate the surface of difficult to bond materials such as plastics, rubber, glass, ceramics, metals, and composites for the purposes of advanced adhesive joining, paint adhesion, print adhesion, over molding, two-shot injection molding, and micro-cleaning. Combined metal non-metal surfaces and delicate materials like foams can be treated without damage to the surface.
Not only is the final assembly stronger, other benefits include reduced adhesive costs, faster line speeds and reduced solvent emissions.
