Company Description
FHP began its life in 1986 when brothers, Ron and Peter, funded the start-up of the company with the sale of their small yacht. Initially FHP only carried out repairs on hydraulic systems in factories and ship yards around the Tyneside area. This early iteration of the company had two employees, Ron and the brother’s mother, Ellen, and was based out of a small starter unit in Chirton.Nearly three decades and four FHP locations later and the business FHP has grown into an international business supplying electro-hydraulic systems to all corners of the world. We can confidently state we are a global business with about 60% of our products being exported.
