Company Description

Diolkos3D is a software company that is specialized in developing software systems for road planning. The history of diolkos3d begins since 1998 where the founders developed software that was used in the study of several road design projects in which they participated. In 2002 a beta version of Diolkos is distributed to ‘Road design and construction’ laboratory of ‘Geomatics and Surveying’ department of ‘Technological Educational Institute’ of Serres in Greece.
DIOLKOS Software is a state-of-the-art road design software. Its design capabilities are not limited to road projects but it can be used in any type of corridor facilities as well (railways, airfield runways, channels etc.). Integrate the plan, profile & cross sections design into a 3D model of road in conjunction with the surrounding terrain. A separate application (TRI) can be used to build, edit and project in 3D space Digital Terrain Models (DTMs).
