Company Description
Cooke and Son is a family business based in the greater Durban Area.
All component, assembly and tool design is carried out in 3d parametric modelling using ProEngineer.
Tooling manufacture is carried out inhouse utilising CNC machining and the concurrent engineering CAD/CAM facilities offered by ProEngineer.
The company operates out of 1200m2 premises and runs 12 Arburg injection moulding machines from 25 to 200t on a 24 hour basis.
The company is committed to training through the PITB, and all factory staff are accredited to Skills level 1.
The company is implementing a quality system to comply with ISO 9002 and expect to achieve accreditation early in 2000.
