African Railway Systems (Afrail) is a Railway Logistics Company specializing in shunting solutions.
We are able to supply new or refurbished Diesel Shunting Locomotives ranging from 5 - 55 tons on either a hire or purchase basis. E.g Funkey or Hunslet.
In addition we are able to refurbish any type of Diesel Hydraulic Locomotive with an average turnaround time of 3 months.
Locomotive Hire - Hunslet / Funkey / UNILOK / ECL locomotives available for short, medium or long term hire.
In association with WO Trackworks Africa (Pty) Ltd, Afrail is also able to supply mechanized track maintenance equipment such as Tampers and Ballast Regulators for private sidings.
Afrail has over 20 years experience in the Railway Industry and has offices in Romania, Mexico, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
