Hydramotion specialises in the design and manufacture of on-line and portable viscosity measuring instruments for industrial processes. On-line viscometers can be installed in any location, in any orientation and in vessels or pipelines of any capacity. High-temperature models operate up to 450 degreesC with no need for special cooling. All viscometers are factory-calibrated using certified viscosity standards traceable to NIST and require no on-site recalibration. There are no moving parts, seals or bearings to wear out so maintenance is minimal. No accessories are required. All on-line viscometers are available in intrinsically safe versions certified for use in Zone 0 Hazardous Areas (Class 1, Div 1, Group A). A Hydramotion viscometer is “fit-and-forget”, ready to use straight out of the box.
Hydramotion also produces a portable moisture meter for use in bulk soft building materials such as sand or light gravel.
