Computer aided engineering and solid modelling technology enables designs and drawings to be produced quickly and inexpensively and then downloaded direct to modern computer controlled production equipment. Manufacturing is controlled by a materials resource planning system (MRP) in conjunction with a very simple cost effective “Kanban” materials / component cost system that synchronises the outputs of various stages of the process.
