Bronkhorst (UK) Ltd
Bronkhorst UK is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bronkhorst High-Tech BV of Holland. Established in 1981, Bronkhorst BV was formed by two engineers with novel ideas for gas mass flow control products using thermal techniques. Initially targeted at the market for control of gas flows within semiconductor manufacturing machinery, joint technology agreements were signed between Bronkhorst High-Tech and Porter Instrument Company for the North American market and Oval Corporation for the Asian markets.
The product range grew to include pressure control systems, and liquid mass flow controllers using the thermal principle. Fieldbus compatible sensors were introduced as early as 1992 with the RS485 based FLOW-BUS, and later DeviceNet and Profibus-DP systems. Recently Bronkhorst BV have introduced Coriolis effect mass flow measurement and controller systems for both gases and liquids.
