UK Press Announce the arrival of EngNet

The Yorkshire Evening Press announced the arrival of EngNet to the area with a front page spread in their business section. Ron Godfrey, Editor for the Evening Press, expressed his excitement at the news of the opening of the EngNet office in York, and said that there is a definite need for such an advanced service. The UK is benefitting from government backing in the endeavour to make the UK the best place in the world for trading on-line by 2002 (as stated by Ms Patricia Hewitt the government's e-commerce minister).
