Company Profile
The company designs, manufactures and installs package sewage treatment plants. The range starts from single house units, replacing septic tanks, to larger units suitable for villages of 5000 to 10000 people.
We use locally designed and tested technology. Low in capital cost, easy to operate, the plants make sewage treatment affordable to all.
South Africa requires the building of new housing developments throughout the country. Water born sewage is a requirement by the new householders and the use of septic tanks has proven to be too costly in the long term.
With the limitations in the availability of capital, new alternatives have to be found for the provision of sewage treatment.
At the same time many smaller developments outside the central municipal areas will also require full sewage treatment plants to protect our rivers from pollution and in this way protect the many people living from the South African rivers.
Famsystems (Pty) Ltd offers a wide range of technologies and manufactures in the newly acquired premises in Edenvale, East of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. The premises offer over 3600sq.m. under cover allowing for extensive manufacturing facilities and excellent quality control.
Famsystems has been assessed and approved in terms of the international quality standard ISO9001:2000.
